It has been confirmed that Jim Hellwig, better known to the rest of the world as The Ultimate Warrior has passed on at the age of 54. A reminder of how short life is, and how every breath you take could very well be your last.
I've been a fan of professional wrestling my whole life. Yes I know its "fake", but I enjoy a good show. And what a show the Ultimate Warrior put on. Make no mistake, he was not that good of a wrestler and it took a really good wrestler like Hulk Hogan or Randy Save to make him look good as performer. However you cannot underplay the intensity the Warrior exuded, the way he got the fans excited. There was something about him that made us want to see him.
In recent years the Ultimate Warrior has become the subject of ridicule. Reasons include legally changing his name to Warrior (to be fair, the WWE wanted copyright his character and he just wouldn't have that), being a hilariously bad motivational speaker, coming out with an incomprehensible comic book, and the list could go on and on.
There some people I never expect to bury the hatchet. Warrior and Vince McMahon were two of them, so color me surprised when they did and it was announced that Warrior would be involved with the WWE 2k14 game. In addition to that, he was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania XXX. I watched both the Hall of Fame and then Wrestlemania last week, and It was great to see him there with all the other inductees. For that great moment to happen just a few short days before his death, is nothing short of shocking.
I did actually tune in on Raw, Monday night. I was a bit put off by the Warrior's final promo. Looking back on it now, I have a hunch that he knew he was dying and wanted to say something important to the fans before he left:
No doubt, he left us with some fine words. We must live our lives in a way, so that others will desire to emulate us and the good that we do. At least that was the message I took from this. I will do my best live in such a way.
My sympathies go out to his family. Thank you Warrior, for the memories. Always Believe!

I'm unsure...
I've been inactive in recent weeks and I've gotten a couple of notes asking why. Some people have also noticed that I've deleted my Patreon, my Pixiv, and my Twitter. I do think that deserves some explanation.
About a month back probably more, I was surfing the internet and I spent about five hours one day not doing much productive, mostly looking up DiD and bondage comics. Now the activity in of itself was not unusual, my deviant art watch list consists pretty much of few people that do non-DiD art, but what concerned was the length of time that I have been looking it. Not only that but the content of the pictures was a little more saucy th
UK WATCHERS: IF YOU CARE ABOUT FREE SPEECH
A Scottish gentleman named Marcus Meechan, better known as Count Dankula, made headlines over a year ago when he was put on trial for making a YouTube video in which he taught his dog to sieg heil. According to the introduction to the video, he did it to annoy his girlfriend by turning her dog into "the least cute thing he could think of".
Earlier today he was convicted for being #GrosslyOffensive and is due to be sentenced on April 23rd. Regardless of whether or not he intended malice and his joking, it is still A violation of free speech. This ruling along with a few other recent rulings banning journalists from the UK has the potential
Making an effort to get back in the game
With the project I took a hiatus for in the backburner, I've decided to come back and at least finish SOTS before I have to go do another project. I have all the pages drafted, and I'm drawing in each character individually. I don't know if this makes the process faster, but it feels like it. If nothing else, it makes me used to drawing a single character consistently. I hope to have it finished by the end of the month, there's really no reason why I shouldn't as this is now my main job (well, not THIS per say, but you get what I mean).
In addition to the comic, I have some fanart I have in its drafting phases, expect these when I have t
ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT COMICS IN THE FUTURE
I will continue to accept Patreon donations, however they won't be the primary way I monetize my comics. Once the first chapter of Seas of Tortured Soles is finished, I will post it and other comics that I do on Tapastic.
Stay tuned for updates.
